No. The calendar math runs locally; the dates you check are never sent anywhere.
Are both end dates counted?
The difference counts nights between the dates: Monday to Friday is 4 days. If your use case counts both endpoints (like rental days), add one.
How are months and years derived?
From the average calendar month (30.44 days) and year (365.24 days) - the standard way to express long spans; the day count itself is always exact.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. The math uses real calendar dates, so February 29 and daylight-saving quirks never skew the count.
