GPA questions, answered
Is my data sent to a server?
No. Your grades stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged - a real concern with academic records on many GPA sites.
How is a weighted GPA calculated?
Each grade's points (A = 4.0, B+ = 3.3 …) are multiplied by the course's credits, summed, and divided by total credits - so a 4-credit course moves your GPA more than a 1-credit one.
What scale is used?
The standard US 4.0 scale with plus/minus steps (A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3). If your school treats A+ as 4.3 or skips minus grades, results may differ slightly.
Can I project a future GPA?
Yes - add the courses you are taking with the grades you expect, alongside completed ones, and see where the combined average lands.
