How to sign a PDF

Add your PDF

Drag and drop a PDF anywhere in the box, or click to browse. The first page opens in the preview.

Create your signature

Draw it with your mouse or finger, type your name in a signature style, or upload a photo of your real signature as PNG or JPG.

Place, then download

Click the page where the signature belongs - drag to fine-tune, resize with the corner handle, add it to more pages, then click Convert to download the signed PDF.

PDF signing questions, answered

Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No - and for contracts that matters. The signature is embedded into the PDF entirely on your device; neither the document nor your signature ever touches a server.

Is this a legally binding signature?

This tool creates a simple electronic signature - an image of your signature placed in the document - which is widely accepted for everyday agreements, forms and letters. It is not a cryptographic digital certificate; for qualified electronic signatures your counterparty will specify a certificate-based service.

Can I sign on multiple pages?

Yes. Create the signature once, then click each page where it should appear. Every placement can be moved and sized independently.

Can I reuse a scanned signature?

Yes. Choose Upload and pick a photo or scan of your signature - a PNG with transparent background looks best, but a photo on white paper works too.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. A password-protected contract is flagged the moment you add it. Unlock it with the password you were given, then sign it here.
