Is my text sent to a server?
No. Sorting happens entirely on your device. Lists of names, URLs or order numbers are never transmitted anywhere.
How are numbers inside text handled?
Alphabetical mode uses natural sorting, so file2 comes before file10. Numeric mode reads each line's leading number and sorts by value.
Can I remove duplicates while sorting?
Yes - tick Unique and repeated lines collapse to one in the same pass.
Is the sort stable for equal lines?
Yes. Lines that compare equal keep their original relative order.
